We're looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our growing team and contribute to a high-impact e-commerce project for a major U.S. company. If you thrive on building high-performance backend systems that power seamless digital commerce experiences, we want to hear from you!
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems for a high-traffic U.S. e-commerce platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Optimize database hierarchies, processes, and system performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Write efficient queries, conduct thorough testing, and maintain high code quality to ensure exceptional application performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers, external teams, clients, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Ensure security best practices and backend performance optimization, contributing to the overall stability and scalability of the platform.
- Java (4+ years of hands-on experience in production environments)
- Spring Framework (3+ years, including core components for scalable applications)
- Web application development (3+ years), focusing on RESTful APIs for high-traffic systems
- SQL & Database Optimization (3+ years)
- Experience with Redis and GraphQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Jira
- Proficiency in measuring and optimizing application performance
- Knowledge of Eclipse and IntelliJ
- Experience with Docker and cloud technologies
- Background in e-commerce domain knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English, verbal and written
- Strong ability to collaborate across diverse teams, both internal and external
- Independent and self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- Accountable for personal and team contributions, ensuring reliable execution
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, always seeking improvements
- Well-organized with strong time management skills, providing reliable estimates and updates
